Martin joined the Authority in January 2022.
Martin was previously a Senior Supervisor in the JFSC’s Banking Supervision team and spent 10 years in various roles across the JFSC’s Supervision Division. His main areas of expertise are in Banking and Non-Banking Prudential Supervision as well as Investment Business and Banking Conduct. Whilst at the JFSC Martin was involved in several strategic projects including development of the JFSC’s Supervisory Risk Model, implementing new prudential reporting processes and investment business mystery shopping.
Martin is an accountant and prior to joining the JFSC he spent 9 years at PwC in Jersey where he gained experience across a broad spectrum of Jersey’s finance industry.

Mike was appointed Chair of the Authority in August 2021.
Mike was a Senior Advisor at the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) until he retired from the Bank in 2021. He was recruited to the Bank of England in 2009 and headed up the Bank’s Special Resolution Unit through much of the Global Financial Crisis before joining the KPMG’s Banking Risk team in 2012. He returned to the Bank as a Senior Advisor in 2014 in which role he provided challenge and support to the PRA’s banking and insurance supervision teams. From 2015 to 2017, Mike took on a front-line supervision role as Director of the PRA’s International Banks Supervision Directorate where he led teams overseeing more than 150 overseas banks operating out of the UK. During this period, he also worked for the Irish Government as a Technical Advisor on their Inquiry into the Irish banking crisis.
Prior to his regulatory experience, Mike had a long career in retail financial services including 25 years with Lloyds (TSB) culminating in executive director roles on the boards of two large subsidiaries, Lloyds TSB Insurance Ltd and Cheltenham & Gloucester plc.

Katherine was appointed as a member of the Authority in January 2022.
With over 25 years’ experience in finance and law, Katherine Hitchins has held senior roles at leading international investment banks, including serving as Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase Bank in Singapore and Director at Lehman Brothers in London. She originally trained and qualified as a banking lawyer with Ashurst in London, before working in Singapore and finally moving to the Channel Islands, where she was a Partner and Head of Department at a Guernsey law firm.
Now based in Jersey, Katherine acts as General Counsel for high-net-worth family offices and investors in Europe and Asia. Katherine is also currently a non-executive director for Schroders’ offshore private banking group and for several companies which incubate and finance the development of Web3 products for financial services.

Director General of the JFSC

Jill was appointed as a member of the Authority in January 2022.
Jill is the Director General at the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC). In her role, she is responsible for leading the JFSC in its day-to-day operations as both regulator and registry, and ensuring the organisation delivers its strategic priorities. Prior to this she was the Executive Director of Supervision. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing the regulation of Jersey’s financial services industry and the supervision of other sectors for anti-money laundering and terrorist financing.
With over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry in the UK, Jersey and Asia, specialising in compliance and operational risk management for global banking organisations.
Jill is passionate about learning and development and mentors a number of talented women to support them in fulfilling their potential. Jill holds a BA (Hons) in Financial Services.
Jill is also a Trustee for Jersey Hospice Care.

Deputy Chair of the JFSC

Deputy Chair of the JFSC
Monique joined the Board of the Authority in January 2022. She also serves as a Commissioner and Deputy Chair of the Board of the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Monique has 25 years’ experience in finance and law. Prior to moving to Jersey in 2013, she specialised in structuring complex financing deals for international investment banks in London and New York, most recently at Goldman Sachs as a Senior Banker and Executive Director, and before that as a Director at Merrill Lynch. She began her career as a finance lawyer at Minter Ellison in Australia and Clifford Chance in London. She has experience working with a variety of organisations spanning government, international investment banks, sovereign wealth funds, major financial institutions and international businesses.
Upon moving to Jersey, she has undertaken a select number of non-executive directorships, and co-founded an investment consultancy business, Kairos Wealth Limited. She is currently an Executive Director and Chief Risk & Governance Officer of Arrow Global Group, and Chairs the fund manager for Arrow. She also sits as a non-executive director on a London-listed solar energy fund.

Edmore joined the Authority in May 2024.
Before this appointment, he served as a Senior Treasury Analyst at Abfin Property and Private Equity (Pty) Ltd, as well as Alliance Media South Africa (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. Prior to relocating to South Africa, Edmore held various positions at TN Financial Holdings Limited and began his career with Standard Chartered Bank.
He brings extensive expertise in Treasury Management, Corporate and Retail Banking, Private Equity, Fund Management, and Risk Management.
Edmore holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) Degree in Finance and Banking, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management.

Isaac joined the Authority in June 2025.
Isaac previously worked within the JFSC's Banking Supervision team, supervising a portfolio of Jersey banks in respect of conduct and financial crime compliance.
Prior to this, Isaac spent three years with the Maltese Depositor and Investor Compensation Schemes where he assisted in the administration of the schemes and the development of the compensation framework.
Isaac also spent seven years working in Hong Kong for both the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board.
